Abstract:
Along with the research and development of some radioligands, PET had play an important role in the researches on receptor-related, especially for gamma-aminobutyricacid receptor, acetylcholine receptor, glutamic acid receptor, dopamine receptor and opioid receptor, et al. In this review, the advances of researches on the receptor-related changes and PET were summarized, so as to provide references for clinical diagnosis and treatment on epilepsy.
Comparison between 18F-NaF PET and PET-CT to detect bone metastases in patients with lung cancer

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the effect of 18F-sodium fluoride(18F-NaF)PET-CT in the detection of bone metastases in patients with lung cancer.Methods Thirty-four patients with newly diagnosed lung cancer were performed with 18F-NaF PET-CT.18F-NaF PET and 18F-NaF PET-CT were interpreted separately.Lesions were categorized as malignant,benign or inconclusive.A panel of reference methods was used,including MRI(34 patients),18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET-CT(4 patients),histopathology(2 patients),or clinical follow-up of at least 6 months(6 patients).Results In patient-based analysis,11 of 34 patients had bone metastases.18F-NaF PET-CT correctly diagnosed all 11 patients with bone metastases,18F-NaF PET only correctly detected 8 of them.18F-NaF PET-CT had no false and inconclusive diagnosis.In lesion-based analysis,118 lesions were assessed which had final diagnosis(47 metastases,71 benign lesions).18F-NaF PET-CT was correct in 46 metastatic lesions and 71 benign lesions,but false-negative in lesion.18F-NaF PET was correct in 27 metastatic lesions and 64 benign lesions,but wrong in 3 lesions(2 benign lesions,1 metastatic lesions),and equivocal in 24 lesions.Based on the corresponding appearance on low-dose CT,46 of 47 lesions were categorized metastases(31 presented as sites of increased uptake with corresponding lytic or sclerotic changes,and other 15 metastases show normal or non-specific appearing bone),only 1 sclerotic metastasis was judged benign. All 71 benign lesions have a benign appearance on low-dose CT. In patient-based analysis, categorizing equivocal and malignant interpretation as suggestive for malignancy, the 18F-NaF PET-CT was more specific than 18F-NaF PET(100% vs 78%, χ2=10.78, P<0.05), the sensitivity was 100% for each other. Categorizing equivocal and benign as benignity, the 18F PET-CT was more sensitive than 18F-NaF PET (100% vs 73%, χ2=6.41, P<0.001), the specificity between them was not significantly (100% vs 96%,χ2=2.03, P>0.05). In lesion-based analysis, the similar results were obtained as patient-based analysis.Conclusion 18F-NaF PET-CT was both sensitive and specific for detection of bone metastases in patients with newly diagnosed lung cancer. With the diagnosis information of low-dose CT, its ability of differentiation between malignant and benign lesions is improved.
Preliminary assessment of ischemic and viable myocardium with 99Tcm-HL91 SPECT

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the image characteristic of 99Tcm-4, 9-diaza-3, 3, 10, 10-tetramethyldodecan-2, 11-dione dioxime (99Tcm-HL91) in the ischemic myocardium, thus explore the possibility of 99Tcm-HL91 in assessment of ischemic but viable myocardium. Methods Eighteen patients with cardiac infarction went 99Tcm-sestamibi(99Tcm-MIBI)SPECT and 99Tcm-HL91 SPECT. Average radioactivity of ischemic area and normal area were respectively obtained by region of interest on heart short axis images.The radioactivity ratios of target (ischemic area)-to-non target (normal area) were calculated. Results In 10 patients the positive 99Tcm-HL91 uptake was shown in the defect region of 99Tcm-MIBI images. In the other cases, similar signs have not been found. Conclusions 99Tcm-HL91 may be selectively uptaken by ischemic and hypoxic but viable myocardium. The combination of 99Tcm-MIBI and 99Tcm-HL91 SPECT may be more helpful for accurate evaluation of hypoxic viable myocardium.
Evaluation of 99Tcm-macroaggregated albumin pulmonary perfusion imaging to thrombolytic therapy in pulmonary embolism

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the role of 99Tcm-macroaggregated albumin (99Tcm-MAA)pulmonary perfusion imaging in evaluating thrombolytic therapy in pulmonary embolism. Methods Date of 54 patients with acut pulmonary embolism diagnosed by 99Tcm-MAA pulmonary perfusion imaging combined with radiography were analyzed retrospectively. Among them, pulmonary perfusion imaging was also performed one week after thrombolytic therapy. In some cases, pulmonary perfusion imaging was performed three months after thrombolytic therapy. Results The results of radiography were normal in all cases, among 347 abnormal pulmonary segments in 54 cases. 164 (47.3%) and 199 (57.4%) segments were restored to normal 1 week and 3 months later(χ2=10.68, P<0.05). Conclusion As a non-invasive diagnostic method,99Tcm-MAA pulmonary perfusion imaging play an important role in evaluating the therapeutic effectiveness of thrombolytic therapy in patients with pulmonary embolism.
The clinical value of 99Tcm-depreotide scintigraphy in differentiating malignant from benign lesions in the lung

Abstract:
Depreotide is a synthetic 10-aminoacid peptide which is comprised of a somatostain receptor binding sequence and a technetium coordinating sequence. A meta-analysis is performed to estimate the diagnostic efficiency of 99Tcm-depreotide scintigraphy. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of 99Tcm-depreotide SPECT in distinguishing pulmonary lesions were, respectively, 94.2% (95% confidence interval (CI):90.5%, 97.9%), 61.2% (95% CI:50.7%,71.7%), 81.6%, 81.1% and 83.2%. In patients with a small solitary pulmonary nodule (<1.5 cm) and positive 99Tcm-depreotide SPECT, the risk of malignancy is high. On the other hand, patients with a large solitary pulmonary nodule (>1.5 cm) and a negative scan may be recommended for serial CT follow-up, since the sensitivity in those subjects was high.
Safety of adenosine in stress cerebral perfusion imaging

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the safety of adenosine as pharmacological stress agents in stress cerebral perfusion imaging. Methods Eighty patients under investigation for suspected cerebral vessel disease were recruited. Each had a resting seen and a stress scan on different days. The adenosine stress protocol was as same as the protocol used in adenosine stress myocardial perfusion imaging. Subjective and objective side-effects were investigated during pharmacological stress procedure. Results All patients completed the 6 min infusion protocol without premature termination on safety criteria or due to intolerable symptoms. 46 patients had mild side effects. 20 patients (25%) had dizziness, 12 patients (15%) had palpitation, 1 patient (1%) was hypotensive, 7 patients (9%) had dyspnoea, 4 patients (5%) felt hot, 3 patients (4%) had sweat, 4 patients (5%) had nausea, 6 patients (8%) had flushing, 19 patients (24%) had chest pain, 6 patients (8%) had abdomen pain, 3 patients (4%) had abnormal taste and 1 patient (1%) were thirsty. Transient ST change occurred in only 1 patient. Conclusion Adenosine stress cerebral perfusion imaging is a safe diagnostic method with mild side effects
Comparison of treatment with 89SrCl2 and 153Sm-ethylenediaminetetramethylene phosphate in metastatic cancers of bone

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the effect of 89SrCl2 and 153Sm-ethylenediaminetetramethylene phosphonate (153Sm-EDTMP) on metastatic carcinoma of bone. Methods All patients with widespread metastatic bone cancers were divided into two groups randomly:sixty-nine patients were treated with 89SrCl2 with dose of 1.11~2.22 MBq/kg by intravenous injection, fifth-one patients were treated with 153Sm-EDTMP with dose of 25.9~37.0 MBq/kg by the same way. Bone imaging was analized in 3~6 months. The pain, the metastasis varied situation, and side-effect were compared. Results In the group of 89SrCl2 the remission rats of bone pain of positive response, total-effect, apparent, finess, no-effect was 92.8%, 69.6%, 23.3%, 7.2% respectively. In the group of 153Sm-EDTMP, the data were 94.2%, 66.7%, 27.5%, 5.8% respectively. There were not significantly different between groups of 89SrCl2 and 153Sm-EDTMP (χ2=4.98, P>0. 05). In group of 89SrCl2 the rate of area of skeletal metastases Grade Ⅰ (disappear, reduction, maintain and no-new-development) was 56.5%. However it was, in 153Sm-EDTMP group, 54.9%. There was no significantly difference between 89SrCl2 and 153Sm-EDTMP groups (χ2=4.81, P>0.05). The arrest rate of bone marrow (white blood or blood platelet was descended) of 89SrCl2 group was 40.8% while in 153Sm-EDTMP group was 59.2%. There was a significantly different between them (χ2=7.45, P<0.05). Conclusion 89SrCl2 and 153Sm-EDTMP have effect on metastatic carcinoma of bone treatment. It is suggested that one can choose each of them by economic condition. But, 89SrCl2 can maintain the effect in a long time and bone marrow is arrested serious, so it is the first choise for early metastatic carcinoma of bone.
Thyroglobulin and differentiated thyroid cancer

Abstract:
Thyroglobulin(Tg) measurements play an important role in the management of differentiated thyroid carcinoma(DTC).Tg is a highly specific and sensitive tumor marker for detection of recurrence and metastasis of DTC.Tg assays and radioiodine scans are complementary.Immunohistochemical detection of Tg,Tg mRNA and thyroglobulin antibody(TgAb) also play important roles in the management of DTC.
Alteration of serum tumor necrosis factor-alpha level in gestational diabetes mellitus and correlation with insulin resistance

Abstract:
Objective To explore the dynamic of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)and its correlation with insulin resistance(IR)during different stages of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods Thirty-two subjects with GDM and 31 cases of normal pregnant women nonnal glucose tolerance,NGT were enrolled in the study,serum TNF-α and insulin were determined by radioimmunoassay.The plasma glucose was measured by using glucose oxidase.Tests repeated for each group according different stages of prenatal 25~28 weeks,29~32 weeks,37~38 weeks and postpartum 6~8 weeks.IR was assessed by the homeostasis model of assessment for insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR).Results ① Serum TNF-α levels in GDM and NGT group rose with gestational age,and both significantly decreased at postpartum. ② Serum TNF-α levels in GDM of above-mentioned four stages respectively were(7.05±0.67)ng/L,(7.11±0.75)ng/L,(7.36±0.79)ng/L,(5.46±0.37)ng/L respectively.All significantly increased than those in the same stage group(t=7.81,7.05,7.15,P<0.01). ③ Maternal serum TNF-α levels were in positive correlation with HOMA-IR in GDM(r=0.571,P<0.05).Conclusions Serum TNF-α levels in GDM rose with gestational age,but significantly decreased at postpartum.The dynamic changes of serum TNF-α contribute to occurrence of insulin resistance.

Abstract:
Because of the hidden symptoms and slow onset,benign gynecological disease is often ignored.Atypical symptoms and superposition with other chronic diseases will result in misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.CA125 has significant value in benign gynecological diseases diagnosis.Joint detection with other indicators can elevate the diagnosis specificity.This review summarizes indicators combined with CA125 detection in benign gynecological disease diagnosis and prognosis.
Establishment of 25-OH-vitamin D reference interval by radioimmunoassay and its clinical significance

Abstract:
Objective To establish reference interval of 25-OH-vitamin D(25-OH-Vit D)by radioimmunoassay and provide suggestion for clinical applications.Method Collecting 204 healthy persons specimens,and validating and establishing reference interval of 25-OH-Vit D by treatment of outlying observations,iudgement of data distributions and analysis of teat results.Results The reference interval of 25-OH-Vit D established in our laboratory is 16.0~39.7 ng/ml for adolescents and 11.7~40.0 ng/ml for adults.Conclusions The levels of 25-OH-Vit D in humans depend on their age,sex and life style.Some people's vitamin D intake is not enough.Doctors should pay attention to the sufficient 25-OH-Vit D needed when evaluate vitamin D intake.
Diagnostic value of serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin,progesterone and estradiol in early normal pregnancy, pregnancy abortion and ectopic pregnancy

Abstract:
Objective Dynamic assay of serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG),progesterone and estradiol value,in its analysis to identify early normal intrauterine pregnancy,abortion intrauterine pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy in value.Methods One hundred and six subject of pregnant 30~35 d of the patients were divided into three groups:early normal pregnancy group of 38 cases,early intrauterine pregnancy abortion group of 33 cases,ectopic pregnancy group of 35 cases.Determination to adopt blood β-HCG,progesterone,estradiol levels,48 h with the law after the test of the three indicators.Results β-HCG,progesterone,estradiol of normal pregnancy group were significantly higher than the pregnancy abortion group and ectopic pregnancy group.β-HCG,progesterone,estradiol of pregnancy abortion group and ectopic pregnancy group in 30~35 d was no significant difference.Retest of β-HCG,progesterone,estradiol,pregnancy abortion group progesterone decreased from(14.8±9.6)μg/L to(8.7±5.8)μg/L significantly and β-HCG,estradiol was no significant difference.To β-HCG test every 48 h increased >60%positive and progesterone=20μg/L as the threshold between the two and a joint analysis of three methods to identify normal pregnancy and abnormal pregnancy(ectopic pregnancy and pregnancy abortion),there is a better sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis.In order to test β-HCG decline >50% positive and progesterone=10μg/L as the threshold between the two and a joint analysis of three methods to identify progesterone,estradiol pregnancy abortion and ectopic pregnancy,the better sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis,analysis of both the united confirmed a higher rate.Conclusion Dynamicmonitoring of serum β-HCG, progesterone, estradiol have a certain value in early identification of the normal pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy and intrauterine pregnancy abortions.

Abstract:
Gadd45 gene is one of growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible(Gadd)family.It's also a gene induced by ionization radiation.It plays an important role in controlling cell cycle,repairing damaged DNA and in cell apoptosis.This makes it work as an improtant gene in mainteining genomic stability.but more importantly it induces cell apoptosis and is a bridge in the cascade process of apoptosis of tumor cell.At the same time,it takes part in tumorigenesis.

Abstract:
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are recently identified short non-coding RNAs that down-regulate gene expression and play an important role in components of the radiation-induced radiobiologic response,such as apoptosis, radiation tolerance and bystander effects. Accumulating evidence suggests that miRNAs may be associated with the responses of cells to radiation treatment. MiRNAs may serve as potential new targets for co-therapies aiming to improve the effects of radiotherapy in cancer patients.
Molecular mechanism of genetherapy combined radiotherapy for malignant tumor

Abstract:
Radiotherapy is one of the routine treatment methods for malignant tumor.Resistance to radiation is one significant obstacle to the curative effects of radiotherapy.Genetherapy combined with radiotherapy represents a new approach to cancer treatment.A series of studies about combination therapy found that genetherapy could enhance tumor radiosensitivity,reduce recurrence and metastasis,and improve effects of radiotherapy.Review the relevant molecular mechanisms of genetherapy combined radiotherapy for malignant tumor.
The value of spiral CT thin imaging reconstruction in the diagnosis of obstructive jaundice

Abstract:
Objective To approach the value of spiral CT thin imaging reconstruction in the diagnosis of obstructive jaundice in order to improve the correctness of the diagnosis.Methods Analysis the cases'clinical manifestation and the CT images,who were diagnosed as obstructive jaundice by operation.All of cases had high-resolution computed tomograyhy scan.The thickness and the interval is 5mm,reconstructed the thickness and the interval to 1mm and 1.5 mm,then send the images to the workstation and MRR were processed.Analysis the date with the pathology.Results Spiral CT thin imaging reconstruction have 98% and 93% in the accuracy of location and characterization in the obstruction.Conclusion The spiral CT thin imaging reconstruction is a good method to improve the accuracy of location and characterization in the obstructive jaundice.

Abstract:
Diffusion weighted imaging with background suppression(DWIBS)has been used more and more in tumor screening,primary differentiating benign or malignant tumor and evaluating effect of tumor therapy.There are many researches about DWIBS these years,and the results consider that DWIBS is useful in evaluating malignant tumor and metastatic tumor,but at the same time we must confess DWIBS isn't perfect.This review illustrates the researches about DWIBS,potential applications of DWIBS and the limitation of DWIBS.
Advances on CT analyzing urolithiasis constituents

Abstract:
Urolithiasis is common and frequently-occurring diseases of urology.The treatment of lithiasis is not only relevant with the size,location,brittle and infection of calculi,but also affected by urolithiasis constituents.Knowing the urolithiasis constituents in advance is no doubt to guide treatment.But so far an reliable inspection method was not found to analyze accurately urolithiasis constituents in vivo.CT judge precisely the size,location of calculi and analyze roughly the urolithiasis constituents in vivo,especially the appear of dual soure CT,which provide a new method for studying urolithiasis constituents.It may be helpful to find the cause,prevention and therapy of calculi.

The clinical observation of the treatment for malignant gliomas with temozolomide combined with conformal radiotherapy
