Abstract: SPECT-CT provides functional and anatomical images in the same seaning session which facilitates the understanding of diagnostic information and the charaterization of underlying physiopathology. SPECT-CT can accurately locate the anatomical sites of tracer uptake and improve the diagnostic accuracy of SPECT. SPECT-CT fusion imaging play an important role in many areas such as tumor imaging and non-oncological imaging.
