Abstract:
The authors reported a case of pediatric patient diagnosed with hepatic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) during follow-up of neuroblastoma (NB), which was differentiated from NB metastasis through PET/MRI multimodal imaging.
68Ga-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid-1-Nal3-octreotide (DOTA-NOC) PET/MRI imaging played an important role in the differential diagnosis of NB hepatic metastasis and hepatic IMT. The authors reviewed the imaging and pathological characteristics of IMT and differentiated it from other pediatric hepatic space-occupying lesions, which will help to make accurate diagnoses in the future.
