Abstract: Apoptosis plays an important role in tumor processes. Successful therapy induces apoptosis of neoplastic cells in tumor tissue. Apoptosis ^99mTc labelled annexin V imaging enables noninvasive in vivo detect treatment-induced apoptosis on the early stage. It will be useful in early assessment the efficacy of cancer therapies and disease prognosis in individual patients.
