Abstract: An updated immunoassay technology, chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) is presented. The princi-ple of CLIA is based on it of RIA that the immunoreaction is resulted using a tracer labeled by chemiluminescent CLIA is bringing the clinical laboratories into a new generation on higher sensitivity, faster, more convenient, au-tomatic and less hazardous than radioimmunoassay.
