Genomic instability and mismatch repair mechanism

  • 摘要: 辐射可以诱导细胞基因组发生不稳定性改变,表现为一系列的延迟突变表型。错配修复机制作为一种重要的复制后修复机制,在维持基因组稳定方面发挥着重要的作用。它是一种保守的修复机制,不仅可以通过异二聚体的形式直接参与修复过程,也可以通过cdc2磷酸化途径对细胞周期进行间接调控。因此,探讨基因组不稳定性与错配修复之间的相互关系,可能是我们深入了解电离辐射的损伤与修复机制的重要内容。

     

    Abstract: Irradiation can induce genomic instability and produce a series of delayed mutations. As a free-error repair mechanism of post-duplication, mismatch repair plays an essential role in the maintenance of genomic stability. Mismatch is proposed a kind of conservative repair mechanism. Not only can it be involved in the repair process directly by heter-dimers, but it can affect the cell-cycle by cdc2 phophatized path to supervise the cell-cycle indirectly. Therefore, discussing the relation of genomic instability and mismatch repair may represent one of aspects of radiational damage and repair mechanisms
