Abstract: Thc ¹²⁵I with special biological and physical characters is available to interstitial brachytherapy. The ¹²⁵I seeds implantation is widely used in treating malignant tumor abroad. Implantation with ¹²⁵I seeds is an important and effective method in the treatment of prostate cancer, but it is performed as pilot study in the treatment of other tumors.
