The evaluation of 11C-flumazenil PET in the localisation of epileptic foci

  • 摘要: 11C-flumazenil(11C-FMZ)PET所测量到的局部脑区中枢型苯二氮受体(cBZR)密度降低是癫痫灶的特异性生化改变的标志,对癫痫灶定位的灵敏度和准确性高,明显优于EEG(脑电图)、MRI、18F-FDG PET(18F-氟代脱氧葡萄糖)等方法。

     

    Abstract: the density of central benzodiazepine (cBZR) receptor is significanly reduced in epileptic foci and it is regdarded as the specific biochemical marker of epileptic foci.11C-flumazenil PET can measure the cBZR desity and is superior to MRI and 18F-FDG in accurate presurgical identification of epileptic foci.
