13C-尿素呼气试验技术改进及对幽门螺杆菌感染的诊断

Modified 13C-urea breath test and the detection of Helicobacter pylori

  • 摘要: 13C-尿素呼气试验(13C-UBT)是诊断幽门螺杆菌(Hp)感染的重要方法之一。它具有无毒、无创伤、准确、快速等优点,但检测价格昂贵的问题一直阻碍着该方法的推广。近年来,研究人员在保证诊断灵敏度及特异性的前提下,对13C-UBT进行了多方面的改进,如新型价廉的检测仪器,低剂量13C-尿素胶囊的应用,试验餐的改良及检测时间的缩短等,降低了检测成本,大大推动了13C-UBT的更广泛应用。

     

    Abstract: The 13C-urea breath test (13C-UBT) is one of the most important non-invasive methods for detecting Helicobacte pylori infection. This examination is innocuous, simple, highly accutate. While the major drawback of 13C-UBT is the higher cost compared with other methods which hold back its widely using. This review focuses on the most recent advances in the machines used to measure the 13C isotope and on the most important improvements about the UBT, such as the use of lower dose 13C-urea tablet or capsule, the modification of test meal, a shortened collection time of exhalation sample and so on.
