Abstract: Mammography is the most reliable method to lesions in the breast.This technique can detect small lesions before clear clinical symptoms appear.It requires high quality standards,since the contrast between normal and pathological areas in the breast is extremely low.To meet this required of high-quality studies at low dose,high attention to quality control is required on the parts of radiologist,radiographer and medical physicist.This Paper Presents the quality control tests,Those are the minimum set of tests,which should be carried out on an annual basis to help assure proper mammo graphic system performance.
