Abstract: Brachytherapy using a carrier embedded with radioactive seeds has some unique advantages for the treatment of tumor bed or tumor surface, such as optimized spatial dose distribution, reduced seeds migration, expanded clinical indication and convenient treatment application. All these contribute to its better curative effect. The therapy will have a good prospect of clinical application.
