Abstract: Normal tissues inevitably exposed to radiation during radiotherapy which may result in tissue injury, and patients′ quality of life would be affected. However, the injury time and degree of tissues were not the same, and the long-term adverse reactions of radiotherapy have remarkable effect on the long-term survivors. This review summarizes the delayed radiation injury effects on different organs.
