Abstract: Magnetic resonance elastography(MRE) is a noninvasive technique for quantitatively evaluating tissue mechanical properties and it can provide useful diagnostic information. Recently, MRE has been gradually applied into clinical practice, the purpose of this review is to summarize the value and prospect of MRE application in liver examination.
