Abstract:
Objective To explore the value of radionuclide venography(RNV) in the diagnosis of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis(DVT).
Methods One hundred and seventy-seven patients suffering from suspected lower extremity DVT the
99Tc
m-macroaggregateed albumin(
99Tc
m-MAA) RNV examination by SPECT.
Results The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of RNV in the diagnosis of DVT were 92.1%(1 29/140),83.7%(31/37),90.3%(160/177).DVT had a typical imaging feature of the RNV.
Conclusio RNV is safe,non-invasive and simple. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of RNV are higher. And it can reflect the functional status of the veins of the patients with DVT more accurately.RNV is a reliable method in the diagnosis of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis.
