Abstract: Standardized quality assurance and quality control hold significant value in the daily operations and clinical applications of adult DXA bone densitometry. However, due to the lack of guidelines on quality assurance and quality control for DXA bone densitometry in China, the implementation of this technology in clinical practice in our country is not standardized. This expert consensus introduces the preparations before DXA bone densitometry operations, the collection and analysis of scanning data, follow-up, the basic elements of report, quality control, and quality certification, etc. It is hoped that this will contribute to further standardizing and promoting the application of this technology, and provide references and guiding opinions for improving the quality control level of bone density measurement equipment and standardizing their clinical use in China.
