Abstract:
In recent years, the incidence of prostate cancer (PCa) in China has shown a year -on-year upward trend, and has become a malignant tumor of the reproductive system that seriously affects the health of men in China. However, due to the low early diagnosis rate, many patients are only identified after metastasis has occured. Therefore, screening and early detection of PCa can significantly improve the prognosis. At present, in addition to serum prostate-specific antigen detection and traditional imaging examination for PCa screening, the diagnostic application of radionuclide has received increasing attention. The authors reviewed the progress of the research on radionuclide imaging in diagnosis of PCa, with the aim of systematically sorting out the principle, method and clinical application value of this technology, to provide a theoretical basis for optimizing the early diagnosis strategies of PCa and promote the research and development of targeted radiopharmaceutical as well as the improvement of the imaging precision diagnosis and treatment system.
