Abstract:
The authors reported a case of a patient with postoperative prostate cancer combined with clear cell renal cell carcinoma, who underwent
18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) and
18F-prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/CT imaging. The diagnostic features of this condition were introduced and analyzed from various perspectives, including multimodal imaging manifestations, clinical diagnosis, and histopathological examination. Through a literature review, the application scope, diagnostic advantages, and prospects of
18F-FDG and
18F-PSMA PET/CT imaging in oncology were further elucidated. The aim is to promote the clinical application of
18F-FDG and
18F-PSMA PET/CT imaging, particularly the utility of
18F-PSMA imaging beyond prostate cancer.
