Abstract: Radiotherapy is one of the main modalities of cancer treatment, but the benefits from radiotherapy varies among different types of tumors and individuals. One of the important means to solve this problem is to improve the radiosensitivity of tumor tissues. Recent studies have shown that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) influences the radiosensitivity of tumor cells through multiple mechanisms, and is expected to be an adjuvant therapeutic target for radiotherapy in the near future. In this paper, the authors review the action of lncRNA involved in the process of tumor radiotherapy resistance and its related molecular mechanisms.
