The application of ⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging in head and neck cancer

As a tumor imaging agent, ⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI(⁹⁹Tc^m-sestamibi) scintigaphy has high sensitivity, specifity and accuracy in diagnosis of head and neck cancer. It can also be used to detect cervical lymph nodes involved and assess osseous tumor spread. ⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI scintigraphy can provide useful in-formation of diagnosis and staging of head and neck cancer.
