Abstract

Phosphatidylserine exposures on the outer leaflet of the plasma membrane lipid bilayer at the beginning of apoptosis. ⁹⁹Tc^m-labeled annexin V can be used to image apoptosis in vivo according to annexin V has a high affinity with PS.
