p16 negative control pathway and G₁ arrest induced by radiation

Abstract

The molecular mechanism of G₁ arrest induced by radiation was not very clearly.However,the changes of p16-Cyclins-CDKs were observed after UV or ionizing radiation.This negative regulated pathway is not depended on p53.The present report suggests that p16 pathway may play an important role in G₁ arrest in-duced by radiation.
