The cinical utilization and development of assay for cardiac troponin I

Cardiac troponin I (cTnI)is one of the subunits of cardiac troponin.Only a small amou-nt of cTnI can be found in normal serum.Its concentration increases rapidly when myocardiac cells is damaged.With the gradually improvement of analytical methods of cTnI,it has been extensively used to help clinical diagnosis and monitor the therapeutic efficacy of cardiac diseases.
