¹⁶⁶Ho- or ¹⁵³Sm-chitosan complex: an ideal inter-radiation drug

As a carrier, chitosan may form a compound (¹⁶⁶Ho-CHICO, ¹⁵³Sm-CHICO) with ¹⁶⁶Ho or ¹⁵³Sm. Most of the compound retains in the lesional tissue of the injection site by the interstitial administration, while the distribution of the compound in other tissue and organ is less. Using radiation injury will achieve to the treatment purpose. The complex is regarded as an ideal inter-radiation drug.
