Oncological applications of ¹⁸F-FDG PET imaging

Considering normal distribution of ¹⁸F-FDG in human body, ¹⁸F-FDG imaging using PET can be applied to brain tumors, colorectal cancer, lymphoma, melanoma, lung cancer and head and neck cancer.This article briefly focuses on application of ¹⁸F-FDG PET imaging to breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, musculoskeletal neoplasms, endocrine neoplasms, genitourinary neoplasms, esophageal and gastric carcinomas
