Diagnosis of thyroid carcinoma using ⁹⁹Tc^mO₄^-/⁹⁹Tc^m-HL91 imaging

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of ⁹⁹Tc^m-sodium pertechnetate(⁹⁹Tc^mO₄^-)and ⁹⁹Tc^m-4,9-diaza-3,3,10,10-tetramethylododecan-2,11-dione dioxime(⁹⁹Tc^m-HL91)imaging in differentiation of thyroid nodules.Methods ⁹⁹Tc^mO₄^- dynamic and static imagings were performed to the 65 cases of patients with thyroid nodules.After 48 hours,the 46 cases of patients whose ⁹⁹Tc^mO₄^- static imaging prompt cold nodules underwent ⁹⁹Tc^m-HL91 hypexia imaging.And finally,compare the results of the two types imaging with biopsy results.Results The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of ⁹⁹Tc^mO₄^- imaging in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules were 78.6%,71.9% and 73.9% respectively.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of ⁹⁹Tc^m-HL91 imaging in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules were 88.7%,92.3% and 91.4%respectively.And the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of Combining ⁹⁹Tc^mO₄/⁹⁹Tc^m-HL91 imaging were92.9%,93.8% and 93.5% respectively.Conclusion Combining ⁹⁹Tc^mO₄^- and ⁹⁹Tc^m-HL91 imaging methods can improve the coincidence.
