Progress on methods for determination of tritium in air, water and biological samples

  • There is a contradiction between the diversity and applicability of detection methods for the radioactive nuclide tritium. The authors have summarized the complete analytical procedure for tritium detection in air, water, and biological samples, with a focus on the core technical features in key stages such as sample pretreatment, purification and enrichment, and detection, pointed out that green, sustainable, stable, and efficient sample processing methods represent the inevitable trend in the development of tritium detection methods, while the research and development of automated processing equipment and the improvement of process are the directions for future advancement.
