Research progress on detecting gastric emptying function using radionuclide imaging
-
Abstract
Gastric emptying function is an important indicator for evaluating gastric function, and its abnormality is closely related to various digestive tract diseases. The detection of gastric emptying function has important guiding significance for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in clinical practice. Currently, radionuclide imaging is regarded as the "gold standard" for detecting gastric emptying function. However, due to the difficulty in promoting the test meal, the non-uniformity of the detection process, the uncertainty of evaluation indicators, and the high cost, its application is relatively limited. Formulating a scientific and standardized detection procedure is particularly important for promoting the research progress in this field. The authors review the methods of radionuclide imaging in gastric emptying function detection at home and abroad, aiming to provide new ideas for the application of radionuclide imaging in the detection of gastric emptying function.
