18F-FDG PET/CT imaging of bone metastasis of meningioma: a case report and review of the literature

  • The authors reported a case of bone metastasis of meningioma with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT imaging and conducted relevant literature review. Meningioma bone metastasis is very rare, and high metabolism of 18F-FDG in bone can be observed in 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging. Based on this case report and literature review, the authors believe that 18F-FDG PET/CT has important value in the diagnosis of bone metastasis of meningioma and differential diagnosis with other diseases.
