Advances in the application of baseline PET/CT radiomics in lymphoma

  • Lymphoma represents a group of malignancies originating within the lymphatic hematopoietic system, with intricate pathological subtypes, high degree of heterogeneity, and diverse treatment approaches, and the diagnosis and prognosis prediction for patients with lymphoma pose significant challenges. Through radiomics analysis, high-throughput quantitative features are extracted from 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT images, and a series of clinical application models are established, which is expected to serve as a substantial foundation for precise diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma. The authors review the research progress in the application of baseline 18F-FDG PET/CT radiomics in lymphoma.
