A case report of ¹³¹I combined with ¹²⁵I seed implantation in the treatment of medullary and papillary thyroid cancer bone metastasis and SPECT/CT dosimetry validation

The author reported a clinically treated patient with medullary and papillary thyroid cancer bone metastasis, the pathology type of the case was relatively rare in the literature. Based on the experience of the efficacy of ¹³¹I combined with ¹²⁵I seed local implantation treatment, a new reference treatment plan for thyroid medullary bone metastasis was provided. At the same time, a preliminary evaluation of ¹²⁵I seed implantation treated solid tumors was carried out by using SPECT/CT imaging, in order to find a new and more accurate and simple method in dose verification.
